Abdelrahman Gamal

Abdelrahman is an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, the British University in Egypt since 2018. His teaching responsibilities include the delivery of tutorials on Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedures, as well as Administrative Contracts. Abdelrahman had also been part of the team delivering lectures and tutorials of “Legal Research and Study Skills module”.

Beside Abdelrahman teaching responsibility, he is a Moot Court Unit coordinator. His responsibilities in this unit include yearly planning of potential participations in Moot Court Competitions as well as coaching and advising teams of the Faculty students to represent it in such competitions. For the past two year, Abdelrahman has been co-coaching the Faculty teams to Price Media Law Moot Court Competition where he lead the team to qualify to the International rounds in Oxford, UK in 2019 and reaching the octafinals during these rounds. He, also, is editor of the Faculty’s internal bulletin (Faculty of Law E-news).

Abdelrahman is also a researcher at the University Legal Training Centre who is interested in data protection as well as artificial intelligence in relation to Law among other areas of interest.

During his undergraduate studies, Abdelrahman earned his bachelor’s degree with Excellency and Honours from the English section at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University. Abdelrahman proceeded further with his studies to earn a Master degree of Laws from Jean Moulin University (Lyon III) in 2017 and an LLM degree from Ain Shams University in Public Law.
