Following the success of its first summer school, the Faculty of Law in the British University in Egypt(BUE) held its second summer school “Cybercrime in the digital economy”, school’s sessions took place from 23 August to 25 August 2020,and delivered by “ZOOM” platform.
This year summer school is provided in cooperation with United Nation office of Drugs and Crimes (UNODC), the society of Computers and Law (SCL), and Andersen Tax & Legal.
The summer school aims to deepening the understanding of law students and graduates of the impact of technology on law and to emphasize the study of law in terms of its interrelation with other disciplines.
Summer School Agenda this year included five educational sessions delivered by a highly professional facilitator in their fields; following these sessions a discussion session has been opened to discuss a hypothetical case and trying to apply Egyptian anti-Cybercrimes Law on its facts by Participants.
